Gujarat Earthquake Relief - 2001
In January 2001, a strong earthquake impacted the Kutch District of Gujarat, killing thousands, injuring over 100,000, and destroying over 300,000 homes.
WTN Group AG plus Global Line Holding AG together with the support of our community did a fund raising of One Hundred Thousand Swiss Francs and this funds was sent to treat the communities in wake of Gujarat Earthquakes in 2001.

Indian Ocean Tsunami Relief – 2004
On Dec 26, 2004, a 9.0-magnitude earthquake and tsunami caused incredible destruction and loss of life across five time zones and 14 countries bordering the Indian Ocean. Over 225,000 people were killed, thousands were injured, and 1.7 million were left homeless.
WTN Group AG together with Global Line Holding AG did receive support from donors & it was channeled through our telecom network partners in India and Sri Lanka and it was distributed to the affected families for their urgent healthcare services.
